7 Benefits of Intercontinental Bali Club Rooms
If you’re thinking about staying at the Intercontinental Bali Resort consider the Club Rooms. During my recent stay I was happily ensconced in a Club Room for three nights and thoroughly appreciate all the extra benefits that come with that.
You pay a slightly higher price for a big Club Room (pictured below) but there are seven main benefits that offer real value for money and make your stay even more special.
1. Club lounge
As a Club Room guest, you get exclusive access to the Club Lounge. Cool and classically designed it’s a peaceful refuge where you can have breakfast which is included in the price of a Club Room. You are also free to take breakfast at any of the other restaurants or in your room if you prefer.
There’s a Club Lounge terrace by the lagoon too.
2. Afternoon tea
Afternoon tea is served every day from 2-4pm exclusively for Club guests in the Club Lounge, either inside or on the terrace overlooking the lagoon.
It’s an absolute treat. I had pink flamingo tea accompanied by tiny savoury and sweet treats.
3. Cocktails
Club guests will love the complimentary Club cocktails from 5-7.30pm. If you’re a Club guest you can have cocktails in the Club Lounge, by the Club pool so the kids can play or at the Sunset Bar.
4. Planet Trekkers Kids Club
Club guests and their children also get free access to the kids club for 4-12 year olds and open from 9am until 10pm daily. It’s staffed by trained nannies with meals, a pool and cultural activities for the littlies.
5. Butler
All Club guests can access a private butler who will take your bags to and from your room and do anything else needed. I couldn’t come up with any jobs for my butler though!
6. Inspiration lounge
Also exclusive for Club guests the Inspiration Lounge has a library with magazines, books and DVDs for you to borrow, computer access and cultural activities.
7. Club pool
The club pool is big and beautiful and surrounded by loungers and bar tables where you’ll always get a seat. You’ll have to get up early to nab one of the pavillions though.
What the Intercontinental Resort does Best
The resort manages to be both super kid friendly and provide quiet space for adults. For example, the kids buffet at Jimabaran Gardens restaurant is so cute and practical. For Club guests, the Club lounge and pool is available for the whole family, although noisy swimmers and inflatable fun are reserved for the main pool.
So whether you’ve come as a family with kids and grandparents in tow, or you’ll looking for peace away from children, you can find it at the Intercontinental Bali. I recommend spending a bit more on a Club room too.
Apparently they always get booked up first. I’m not surprised, afternoon tea in the Club Lounge is an absolute treat.
I was a guest of Intercontinental Resort, Jimbaran Bay during my stay in Bali.
